Milos Cruise Transfers from Adamas

Cruise ships do not dock at a deep-water terminal on Milos. They anchor in the bay and tender into Adamas, or a smaller vessel sometimes comes alongside the quay. Either way you step onto the same compact waterfront as the ferries, at the same moment as everyone else looking for a taxi.

A pre-booked private transfer means your driver is already there with a name sign. We take you to the village, beach or hotel you actually want to see, and we get you back to the tender with time in hand. This is not a ship excursion. It is a private car, on your clock.

How the landing works

Most conventional ships tender into the harbour at Adamas. The ride from the ship is usually ten to fifteen minutes, plus whatever queue there is for the boats. Check the daily programme for Adamas, Adamantas, tender or berth. If the listing only says Milos, assume Adamas unless your ship tells you otherwise.

The landing is in town. Cafes, the bus stop and the taxi rank are a short walk, but the rank is small. When two or three tenders arrive together it empties, which is why independent visitors who have not booked wait.

Meeting you

• Name sign on the quay, just off the pier, at a point we confirm when you book. Vehicles cannot wait on the pier itself.
• Help with bags if you are overnighting, or with beach bags if you are ashore for the day.
• A fixed price per vehicle, the same Adamas fares as our port transfers.

Put the ship name and the all-aboard time in the notes when you book online, or send them on WhatsApp. We use those two facts to set the pickup and the return.

Getting back before the last tender

The last tender is absolute. We treat the all-aboard time you give us as the deadline and work backwards, with a buffer for the walk to the boat and for the Adamas waterfront in August. If you want the driver to stay with you for the whole shore day rather than making a separate return trip, say so when you book and we will quote for the hours.

We do not invent all-aboard times. Yours comes from the ship.

A few hours ashore

Milos is compact. From Adamas, Sarakiniko is about ten minutes, Plaka about ten, Klima a little more. That is enough for a focused morning if you are realistic. Trying to see the whole island and still make the last tender is how people cut it fine.

Prices from Adamas

These are the fixed fares from Adamas port in our booking system, per vehicle for up to four passengers. A minivan for a larger group is quoted when you book. Holding a driver for several hours is quoted separately.

Per vehicle, luggage included. No meter and no extra charge because a tender ran late, provided you told us the ship.
