Kimolos Ferry Transfers from Pollonia

The local boat to Kimolos does not leave from Adamas. It leaves from Pollonia, on the north-east of Milos: a small quay, a ticket office, and the open-type ferry that islanders call the παντόφλα. If you are staying in Adamas, Plaka or at the airport end of the island, you need a transfer to that quay that actually matches the sailing.

We run the Milos side. We take you to Pollonia in time for the pantofle, and we collect you at Pollonia when you come back. We do not drive on Kimolos, we do not put our vehicles on the ferry, and we do not sell ferry tickets.

The pantofle, in plain terms

The boat is the Osia Methodia, run by Blue Gem, on the route Pollonia (Milos) to Psathi (Kimolos). The crossing is about twenty to twenty-five minutes. It carries passengers and, when there is space, vehicles. Tickets are sold at the quay the same day; there is no useful online booking for this local line.

Schedules change with the season and with the weather. We do not copy a timetable onto this page because it would be wrong the next time the operator updates it. Check the current sailings on the operator’s site, kimolos-link.gr, then send us the departure you are aiming for.

What we do

  • Hotel, villa, Adamas or the airport to Pollonia quay, timed so you can buy a ticket and board without a sprint.
  • A later pickup at Pollonia when you step off on the way back, on to your hotel, Adamas or MLO.
  • A name sign at the quay on the return, if you want meeting rather than a pin on a map.
  • The same fixed Pollonia fares as the rest of our booking system. Two separate transfers if you go and come back the same day.

We stay on Milos. On Kimolos you walk, use the local bus, or take a local taxi. That is not a limitation we pretend not to have; it is the honest shape of the service.

How to book it

Use the booking form with Pollonia as the destination on the way out, and Pollonia as the pickup on the way back. In the notes, write the sailing you want and whether you need both legs. WhatsApp is fine if the times are still moving.

Arrive at the quay with a little time. The boat is first come, first served, and a strong northerly can shuffle the day.

Τιμές

Adamas to Pollonia is €35 and about twenty-five minutes. The airport to Pollonia is €40. Return pickups use the Pollonia table in reverse.

Do you drive on Kimolos?
No. We take you to Pollonia and collect you there. On Kimolos you make your own way.
Can you put the Mercedes on the pantofle?
We do not. The local ferry is a separate operator, tickets are not reserved, and our service is licensed on Milos.
Will you wait in Pollonia while we visit Kimolos?
The standard booking is two transfers, out and back. If you want a driver to wait, ask when you book and we will quote for the hours. We still do not cross to Kimolos.
Where do I buy the ferry ticket?
At the ticket office on Pollonia quay, or at Psathi on the way back. Not through us.
What if the boat is cancelled?
Contact us. We move the transfer at no charge, the same as we do for cancelled Cyclades ferries at Adamas.
